About Us

The Maine Association of Medical Staff Services is an organization comprised of nearly 75 members, who work in the field of Medical Staff Services and related fields, in hospitals and managed care throughout Maine.

The Maine Association of Medical Staff Services is a chapter of the National Association of Medical Staff Services with over 5,500 members.

The Maine Association meets two times a year. The meetings include guest speakers, local and national industry news, Board of Registration in Medicine updates, and networking sessions. There is a bi-annual two-day educational conference that takes place in May.

The Maine Association of Medical Staff Services was founded in 1996 by a small group of medical staff professionals for the education and professional development of medical professions working within Maine hospitals and managed care facilities. MeAMSS is an independent, non-profit association for Medical Staff Services Professionals.
